About Iguazu Falls Airports

Iguazu Falls is served by three main airports: Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport (IGR) in Argentina, Foz do Iguaçu International Airport (IGU) in Brazil, and Guaraní International Airport (AGT) in Paraguay. IGR is about 17 kilometers (11 miles) from Puerto Iguazú, offering easy access to the Argentine side of the falls. IGU, located 13 kilometers (8 miles) from Foz do Iguaçu, is the gateway to the Brazilian side. AGT, approximately 40 kilometers (25 miles) from Ciudad del Este, provides an alternative entry point to the region, especially for visitors exploring the Paraguayan side of the tri-border area.

All three airports are well-connected and provide convenient access to the stunning Iguazu Falls and surrounding attractions. Crossing borders between Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay is common and relatively straightforward, with well-established border controls and transportation options, but travelers should ensure they have the necessary visas and documentation, as requirements may vary by nationality.
